To register your child, fill out an application.

Busing is available to and from Lady Evelyn Public School, Viscount Alexander Public School, Rockcliffe Park Public School (but only at the end of their school day) and St. Brigid’s Catholic School; bus times vary from year to year.

Complete Registration Package due  01 June 2011; this includes:

• Registration fee of $60, payable by cheque, dated 01 April 2011 (non-refundable)
• Completed registration papers

Post-dated monthly cheques for the entire school year, dated from 01 August 2011 through 01 May 2012

Standard Morning Hours:  9:00am to 11:30am
From 2 to 5 years

Note: approximately once a month, each family has a duty day which involves being present at the school for the entire morning and providing a snack for all the children.

Standard Afternoon Hours:  1:00pm to 3:30pm
From 3.5 to 5 years

Note: approximately once a month, each family brings in snack for all the children

Standard After-school Hours:  3:00pm to 5:30pm
For children in Junior and Senior Kindergarten

Note: Parents may choose to have their children at Bettye Hyde for the morning program, then attend kindergarten in the afternoon, then return to Bettye Hyde for the after-school program; children in kindergarten full-day learning may also come to Bettye Hyde for the after-school program

Bettye Hyde will provide a snack for the children in this program

Standard School-age Program Hours:  2:30pm to 5:45pm
For children in Grades 1 to 3

Monthly Flat Rate: $226

Bettye Hyde will provide a snack for the children in this program

Additional Options (Fee for use)

A flex-card covering 10 half-hour increments is available for $42

Parents can arrange for extra hours monthly or on an occasional basis

Child care available from 8:30 am to 5:30 p.m.

Supervised lunch program

No child may stay more than 6 hours in total at Bettye Hyde

Examples of total monthly costs for increased hours (e.g.,  for a child going to Rockcliffe Park for kindergarten after Bettye Hyde  in 2010-2011)
